2010-2011
Twenty-first Season

Volunteers:
We do not have a corporate sponsor nor a parent organization to help us out financially. MYSO is a parent volunteer organization and it takes everyone to run it smoothly. There are many jobs that need to be filled and everyone needs to help participate in taking a job and completing it all the way. We will be posting the jobs at auditions, registration, at the parents meeting and it will be posted on the website. Please sign up to help not only your child, but the other students in the program. If you do not sign up you will be accessed a $75 administration fee. This will allow MYSO to hire temporary staff to come in and complete the tasks. The level of these programs depend on your efforts.

2009-2010 Tuition and Fees

Audition Application Fee:
$25.00 (non-refundable)

Tuition:
String orchestra tuition for the 08-09 season will be $425 (non-refundable)
Symphony orchestra tuition for the 08-09 season will be $450 (non-refundable)

Non-refundable Administrative Fee: $75

Music Folder Fee:
Both Symphony & String Orchestras: $35.00. This fee is refundable when the folder and music are returned in good condition. Members have the option of donating this fee to MYSO’s scholarship fund in lieu of receiving this refund.

Refreshment Fee:
Snack fee of $70  (non-refundable)
We will have small volunteer team to bring the snack each week. We will need you to sign up at for at least two (2) events (either rehearsals, concerts or special event) to help set up and clean up snack.

Scholarship Competition:
Audition fee: $15.00 (non-refundable)

Chamber Ensemble Program:
Application fee: $15.00
Tuition: $225.00

Theory Program: (if enough student participation)
Tuition: $100.00

Concerto Competition: (symphony orchestra students only)
Audition fee: $15.00
